A Peter, Paul and Mary Holiday Concert

A Peter, Paul and Mary Holiday Concert
Captioned (the televised performance is captioned, I believe the video is as well.)

A Peter, Paul and Mary Holiday Concert has been part of our Christmas ritual for several years. Our local PBS station always runs it some time in December, and we also have it on tape.

In addition to the Christian and Jewish holiday songs, Peter, Paul and Mary also perform some favorite classics (Blowin' In the Wind, Puff the Magic Dragon, and The Marvelous Toy).

The New York Choral Society performs with the group for some really lovely arrangements; Light One Candle and Hayo, Haya are my favorite pieces from the concert. Well, they're my favorites if you don't count Puff the Magic Dragon, which is one of my all-time favorite songs.

Sadly, the video is no longer available new, though used copies may be available through Amazon.com.

My children adore this concert. My son rarely sings, but he's been wandering around the house singing Children, Go Where I Send Thee for the last two weeks.

Selected songs from the concert are available on cd.
