Homeschooling is legal in every state in the U.S. Laws and requirements vary considerably. Some states have substantial restrictions that apply to parents homeschooling children with special needs. I've had tremendous difficulty finding good information about laws regulating special education and homeschooling for most states. Please share any resources that you may be aware of for your state.
