AG Opinion: Re: Special Education Services For Home-Schooled Students
An opinion from the Arizona Attorney General. In short, in Arizona, there is no requirement to provide sped services to homeschooled students. While nothing prohibits a school district from offering services, there is no funding provided from the state for such services.

Sonoran Desert Homeschoolers

We are not devoted to any one homeschooling approach, political platform, religious outlook, or philosophical ideal. Our homeschooling community supports all families, regardless of their personal lifestyle or educational choices in the area of home education. Our motto is "hozho," a Navajo word meaning "harmony" or "walking in beauty or friendship."
