APPLE Family & Homeschool Group
"The central purpose for APPLE, is to function as a family group. The majority of members, will be homeschool families. The central function of APPLE is as a family group, where families of like interests, can come together in a variety of ways. The gatherings may be by way of one-on-one, or group. These gatherings may take place as field trips, outings, organized functions, lunches, dinners, meetings. Homeschooling issues and exchanges of information, are also a function of APPLE."

New York City Home Educators Alliance
NYCHEA exists to support and inform families who choose home education, inform the general public about home education, protect the right to home educate, and to provide social occasions and group educational experiences for member families.

Loving Education At Home
"Loving Education At Home, Inc. is an organization of like-minded Christian home educators, dedicated to observing the biblical commands of Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Proverbs 22:6 and Ephesians 6:4. LEAH began in 1983 with five Christian families seeking support and fellowship. It grew into a statewide not-for-profit ministry providing support through a network of local chapters."

Parents Instructing Challenged Chidlren
"PICC is a network of parents home schooling, or thinking about home schooling, their handicapped child. The parents of any child who would be labeled by the Committee on Special Education of the public school system would be invited to join PICC. We have members who have children with a wide range of handicapping conditions (learning disabled, attention deficit, cerebral palsy, blindness, hearing loss, Downs Syndrome, microcephalous, etc)."
